kwam deze tegen, stond in een hoekje maar weet het merk + type niet. misschien iemand van hier ? voorstaat wel royale maar of dit het merk is?

Het heeft wel wat weg van een oud formule Fordje. En na wat googelen lijkt het er inderdaad op. Royale is dus het merk van het chassis. Welk type vond ik niet zo snel maar het lijkt erop dat ie ergens uit begin jaren ’80 komt.
Formed in 1967 by Bob King, Royale built cars for a wide array of categories including Sports 2000, Formula Super Vee, Formula 3 and Formula Atlantic, but it was for standard-setting Formula Fords that Royale was best known.
In its 20-year history, Royale produced more than 800 racing cars and won many championships world-wide. In 1977 alone, it built and sold nearly 90 Formula Ford versions of its RP24 design. Two years earlier, Geoff Lees made UK history by winning all three Formula Ford titles and the Formula Ford Festival in his RP21. In later seasons, Royale was a leading force in Sports 2000 both in the UK and America and the book also covers the later years of the company’s history when it was owned by American enthusiast and racer Hubert Kleinpeter.
