Koplampen, infotainmentsystemen. Hebben, hebben, hebben. Er zijn steeds meer auto-inbraken.
Terwijl jij met een boodschappenlijstje naar de supermarkt gaat, heeft het dievengilde een boodschappenlijstje voor auto’s. Je ligt ’s nachts rustig op één oor te ronken. In de tussentijd trekken de boefjes door de woonwijken. Op zoek naar auto-onderdelen. Ze zien een parkeerplaats als een grote Winparts. Katalystoren, bumpers, schermen. Losschroeven en meenemen.
Meer auto-inbraken
Al jaren is dit een probleem, helaas zijn de ontwikkelingen de afgelopen jaren er niet minder zorgwekkend op geworden. Uit politiecijfers blijkt dat het aantal auto-inbraken voor het derde jaar op rij stijgt. Daarover bericht het AD. Het is niet alleen enorm vervelend voor mensen die dit overkomt. Jij en ik betalen er indirect de rekening voor met stijgende premies voor de autoverzekering.
Het gaat hier om georganiseerde misdaad. Bendes trekken door heel Europa op zoek naar specifieke onderdelen. Onderdelen van auto’s worden vakkundig gestolen. De schade loopt soms in de duizenden euro’s. Dieven hebben soms maar minuten nodig. Niemand die ze ziet.
De onderdelen worden onder meer doorverkocht aan (Nederlandse) schadebedrijven op de zwarte markt. Daar worden de onderdelen goedkoper aangeboden dan op de reguliere markt. Het is een verdienmodel voor dit soort bendes. De BOVAG benadrukt dat haar leden geen gestolen onderdelen inkopen. Bij de gevestigde namen hoef je dit soort praktijken niet te verwachten.
Randstad en de grensstreek
De meeste auto-inbraken vinden plaats in de Randstad. Ook de grensstreek blijkt populair, met name in het noorden van het land. Dieven kunnen ze snel richting Duitsland of oostelijker in Europa rijden.
Nederland is een paradijs voor de auto-dieven. Vinex-wijken vol met de nieuwste leaseauto’s. Je zal zelf in actie moeten komen om je geliefde auto te beschermen van dit tuig. Denk aan een extra alarmsysteem waar dieven geen rekening mee houden. Het beste is natuurlijk een afgesloten garage, maar dat is voor de meeste huishoudens niet te doen.

Niet? Ik heb in de vroege jaren negentig een tijdje bij een fabrikant van spuitcabines gewerkt. Op een gegeven moment hadden we een grote klus in de schadewerkplaats van een officiële merkdealer. Daar werden echt niet alleen maar nieuwe onderdelen op de te herstellen auto’s gezet. Uit kostenoverwegingen gebruikte men daar ook vaak genoeg onderdelen die ‘van de sloop’ kwamen. Dat zet de deur tot aanleveren via ‘ongecontroleerde herkomst’ natuurlijk wel open, hè.

Dit is ook een heerlijk verdienmodel voor de fabrikanten! Reserve onderdelen met dikke marges verkopen.

Graag de bovag vragen naar uitleg hoe ze 100% zeker kunnen zijn dat hun ledwn dit niet doen. Als ik van iedereen die ik op de blauwe ogen had moeten geloven een euro had gekregen bij het vertellen van leugens, had ik niet meer hoeven werken.

Helaas dit een aantal maanden geleden meegemaakt. Ruit ingetikt en stuur, radiounit en display meegenomen. 15k schade op een auto van 9 jaar oud.
Aangezien verzekeraars maar tot 2/3e van de dagwaarde gaan is hij al snel totalloss. Gelukkig bij mij niet het geval
